Klark Kent - Book versus Movie

Tuesday, March 17, 2009

In the movie The Outsiders there wasn’t that much information like the book. The movie didn’t have the part in the rumble when Ponyboy jumped on the socs back and tried to strangle him, the part when Ponyboy threatened the socs with the end of a bottle, and the movie did not give any information about Sandy and Soda pop.

The movie was short and it didn’t give that much details as the book did. What I think is that they should do the movie again and include the missing parts from the book. The Outsiders movie also didn’t show the part when Soda Pop ran out and Ponyboy flew and caught him and how Ponyboy fainted when Dally got killed and woke up two days later.

The movie was good and it was fun, funny and lots of action and I enjoyed it. The part that the movie had to put in was Soda Pop and Sandy’s relationship, and how he received the letter that he gave to sandy unopened, and how Pony Boy was walking down the street after when Jonny died and the man took him for a drive home and he was bleeding on the man’s car seats.
